This is the homepage and in obsidian this note must be named “index”. This note should be located in the same folder specified as your vault location.
I have a theory that you could point your “vault” to a subfolder within your vault if say you wanted a dedicated website for only certain things but I have not attempted this yet. But I do know that doing so would break any links you may have out of that folder.

To customize the title of the page you can add the title property to the note. This is sort of a must for this home page but you can also use it if you want to use different names for your notes than your actual page titles.
